Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted June 23, 200519 yr One thing that annoys me about IPB 2.x is that it still assumes everyone uses IE (:x). In other words, with the image macros, and the images in general, they are still using outdated <alt> tags, which only work in IE. They should be using <title> tags, which are cross-browser, meaning they work in IE, Firefox, Opera, etc. Now, I know I can set up <title> tags by editing the image macros, but the point is, I shouldn't have to. This fairly simple procedure should have already been set up. Is there any chance this will happen in 2.1? Or, can it be expected in IPB 3? And I don't mean to come off unappreciative of IPB in any way. This is just something I thought would have been standard, is all.
